New-York Fashion Week FW 2015-2016 part V

Hi dear readers 🙂

It’s time for the last part of #nyfw. I still have some collections to show you !

At the beginning of the fashion Week I wrote a post about the Red Valentino SS 2015 ad campaign, and said the collection was out. But I forgot to show you actually, so now let’s catch up 🙂

We find that little grunge, 90s vibe with checked shirts and long floral dresses. I like this mix, it’s pretty cool. The baby blue and pink short dresses are so cute ! This fresh, playful spirit will please young girls and brighten your day 😉

Marchesa is another collection I wanted to share with you. The Gatsby inspired-theme is glamorous and divine. The three last dresses made my day.  Love the feathers, the lenght, the deep V décolleté … Plus the beauty look and hairstyle fit totally the mood. I say yes 🙂

Last one is : Marc Jacobs. As usually he closed the #nyfw.

That was awesome. When you talk about a Marc Jacobs’ show, you have to talk about the setting first. We found ourselves in a macabre atmosphere (surprising isn’t it ^^ ?) : the background was painted in grey and pictured a XIXth salon heavily decorated and the space where the guests sitted was dark red.

A nostalgic feeling came over me because I was thinking that’s exactly what he would have done for Louis Vuitton. It looks a bit like his French collection for FW 2012-2013 and 2013-2014. This collection looks very feminine and mature. That may be one of his best work in my opinion.

What do you think about it ? Let me know how you feel about the NY Fashion Week.

Now we are all turning to London as serious things begin today. Fashion Week keeps going 😉

xx

  1. I’m impressed, I must say. Seldom do I encounter a blog that’s
both equally educative and entertaining, and let me tell
you, you’ve hit the nail on the head. The problem is an issue
that too few men and women are speaking intelligently about.
I’m very happy that I stumbled across this during my hunt for something regarding this.
