Fashion and charity, by Riley

Hi guys 🙂

Today I would like to share with you a brand I’ve discovered a few days ago.

Riley Uggla is a young woman (19 years old !!) born in Toronto. Her parents moved in England when she was still a toddler. She studied fashion and quicky decided to launch her own label. But the story doesn’t stop here. Since she realized she was lucky growing up in a favourable atmosphere, she wished to help people who were in need. That’s why every time we buy her creations (well she designs with a team), 20% of the profit goes to a charity she has chosen. She describes “made by Riley” as a fashion brand “with a conscience”.

The creative process and the production are 100% made in Britain. There are two collections, menswear and womenswear. You will find sweaters and t-shirts mainly. You can see to which association the pourcentage will go, with a small description. For instance, the black sweater is for “Action Aid”, an international charity supporting women and children in extreme poverty.

Here is the lookbook (and the blog !) : http://madebyriley.co.uk/index.php/look-book

So please take a look 🙂 It’s worth it, and maybe you’ll fall for one of her creations ! Personally, I adore the sweater “No rain no rainbow” !

xx

  1. Hey just wanted to give you a quick heads up and let you know a few of
the images aren’t loading properly. I’m not sure why but I think its a linking issue.
I’ve tried it in two different browsers and
    both show the same outcome.
